Structure of the University System
Years of study required to earn a bachelor's degree: 3 – 4 years
The language of instruction in universities: Latvian. There are a limited number of programs available in English.
Degrees offered: Students can receive a Bachelor's, Master’s and Doctorate degree in Humanities, Natural and Formal Sciences, Social Sciences and Applied Sciences. Students can study Law and Medicine at undergraduate level and obtain bachelor's degree in Law or Medicine.
