Structure of the University System
- Years of study required to earn a bachelor's degree: 4 years. A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine is awarded after five years of study. Bachelor's Degree in Medicine is awarded after six years of study
- The language of instruction in universities: Arabic, Kurdish, or English for certain majors
